We are also just a few minutes drive to Canopy Tours or Surfing at Punta Roca and El Sunzal, 30 minutes to the International Airport Comolapa, and 45 minutes to the Glamour of San Salvador.... by far the best and safest City in Central America.

And then there is always our tours...La Ruta de las Flores, Volcan Cerro Verde, Santa Ana, Lago de Coatepeque, El Imposible, Suchitoto and Ilobasco are all an easy day trip away, and we can get you further afield to La Palma , Alegria and Perquin, no problems.

Or of course you can just kick back at our Ranch House, enjoy the Sun and the birds, icy smoothies, beers & cocktails and real, proper home-cooking. How to get to El Roble Hostal

From Guatemala City or Antigua, Guatemala - Take bus to Esquintla and transfer to the bus for Pedro Alvarado/La Hachadura (border with El Salvador) From the border take bus to Sonsonate then transfer to bus for La Libertad (marked La Perla). From there either phone for a free pick-up or jump on bus 80 (San Diego) Disembark at the school (la escuela) turn left walk to the second street and left again, past the little shop (tienda) We are a few minutes walk, on your left hand side. Look for the Blue Trees!

From the Capital, San Salvador - Take bus 102 to La Libertad then, as above - phone for free pick-up or take bus 80, marked San Diego. Disembark at the school (la escuela) turn left walk to the second street and left again, past the little shop (tienda) We are a few minutes walk, on your left hand side. Look for the Blue Trees! Alternatively, phone for our direct transfer to El Roble. Cost is $20.00 ($30.00 between 10.00 pm - 08.00 am) and is for up to 10 people.

From the International Airport, Comalapa San Salvador- Phone or text us for the 30 minute transfer direct to El Roble.
Cost is $25.00 (max. 3 pers.)
